First Aid Awareness for teenagers

First Aid is an essential life skill. Teaching our young people how to deal with medical emergencies can be empowering.

As with adults, teenagers can be exposed to critical medical situations and giving them the knowledge they need to help, could save a life. This short course will cover Choking – Heart Attacks – Cardiac Arrest – Use of Defibrillator – Recovery Position – Blood Loss and much more. An accident can happen at any time whether it be when there’s a group of friends in the local park or at a party. Young people naturally take risks. Teaching them these life-saving skills gives them the opportunity to evaluate those risks. Let’s improve their confidence and ability to act when needed.

Cost £10 per person

Adult MHFA Two Day Classroom

Knowing what to say to someone who’s really struggling with their mental health is tough. The worry you’ll say the wrong thing and make things worse can be overwhelming. We can help.

Our accredited Mental Health First Aid course gives you the tools you need to identify, understand and help someone who may be experiencing a mental health issue. It won’t teach you to be a therapist but you will learn how to respond in a crisis and be able to recognise those early warning signs.

Our next 2 day course will be held at Rutherford House in Birchwood on 13th May and 20th May. For more information please drop us a message and you can find the booking link below.
